Overview

Theoretically, the course participants are introduced to the specific features, requirements and trends in the design of costumes for cinema and television; to the aesthetic, technological and conceptual achievements in screen costume design in historical terms; to contemporary trends and techniques for costume design. In practical terms, the module develops in the course participants knowledge and skills related to the work process from the initial idea for creating a given costume, through detailed familiarization with the script and research, through the process of cooperation between the director and the production artist, through the preparation of a production schedule, as well as a budget project for the costume design department, to the technical realization of the final product.
