Overview

The course has a narrow focus on the process of creating a visual solution for a given dramaturgical text, with conceptual design at its core. The module aims to reveal the creative and pre-production processes in depth and to develop in the trainees the knowledge and skills necessary to translate the script and thematic elements of the film into visual concepts. The module emphasizes the development of creative ideas and conceptual visual thinking in the trainees, the introduction to the processes and experimentation with idea generation techniques (brainstorming), the use of various design tools and techniques, and the building of collaboration necessary to bring visual solutions to life in film production.
