Overview
This course equips film and audiovisual professionals with in-depth knowledge of sustainability applied to the sector.
What You'll Learn
This course equips professionals in the film and audiovisual sector to integrate sustainability into all phases of a production, through the application of methodologies, tools and best practices adapted to the reality of the industry. With an eminently practical approach, participants develop skills to implement sustainable management systems, optimise production processes, reduce environmental impacts, promote socially responsible practices and respond to the current national and international requirements of the sector. Throughout the course, real case studies are analysed and tools used in national and international productions are worked on, allowing the acquired knowledge to be applied to an audiovisual project. Based on the model developed by the Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (Germany), the course provides an integrated view of sustainability in its environmental, social and economic dimensions, preparing professionals to work as Green Consultants and support more responsible and competitive productions.
Requirements
Candidates should have professional experience or training in the field of film, audiovisual or related areas. During the course, each participant should develop the practical application of the acquired knowledge through an audiovisual project, preferably in the development or pre-production phase. Whenever this is not possible, a project in production or an already completed project may be used, provided that it allows for critical analysis and the implementation of the methodologies covered throughout the course. The selection of candidates may take into account the suitability of the professional profile and the motivation to attend the course.
